Porous plastic tubes withstand boiling water treatment well, but in no way can it be “boiled” in the vessel – this will lead to the deformation of the product and a noticeable loss of its working properties.
Problems with nebulizers occur much less frequently when using an air-pump which is known to be of greater productivity than is necessary under the conditions. During operation, it is necessary to periodically turn it on at full capacity for 3-4 hours, thereby ensuring the cleaning of micro-holes in a natural way. As a result, sprayers will have to be treated less frequently.

For fry diansm, loricaric catfish and other fish species that are sensitive to mechanical suspension and dissolved organics, this filtering method is necessary only in the first two weeks of life, provided that about 80% of water is changed daily.
