The only thing I want to add is that in the summer, aeration should be carried out more often and longer (at high air temperatures, the water in the aquarium heats up and oxygen is consumed faster).
By the way, there is one more “knight’s move” and it is more suitable for lazy aquarists. When it comes time to replace the water in the aquarium, you can somewhat simplify this task. For this you need to collect garbage from the bottom of the aquarium. How to do it? Use a piece of transparent thin hose as a “vacuum cleaner”. The diameter of the hose should not be large: it is better to use a dropper or a hose of a slightly larger diameter (the diameter of an old Soviet penny), but not a watering! Lower one end of the hose to the bottom of the aquarium (just to the bottom: stick the edge of the hose into the ground!), And the other into the empty bucket, which is located below the level of the aquarium. Be careful and attentive: do not pull the fish into the hose! When the bottom cleaning is finished, just bend the hose in the middle and the water will stop flowing!
